The Side Street Gallery studio offers instruction for artist of all ages, and experience levels. Instructions in oils,
and private instruction by appointment. We also offer beginning guitar lessons.

About Us:
Mary's Art classes at the Sidestreet Gallery is located in beautiful downtown
San Clemente, California not far from the pier). Mary Von Lortz is the owner and
instructor of the studio. Daily art classes in oils are offered throughout the
week and weekends for adults and children. The classes are on going and can be
started and stopped at any time. All levels of experience welcome! Students come
from (not only San Clemente)... San Juan Capistrano, Dana Point, Mission Viejo,
Aliso Viejo, Laguna Niguel...the drive proves to be well worth it!
Mary claims, " I can teach anyone to paint - all they need is the desire". Mary
teaches her students to train their eyes to see as an artist sees. Color,
Shapes, Value and Edges.
The studio is very personable - there is no other studio like the Sidestreet
Gallery. We listen to music - enjoy the camaraderie and laughter of the other
students and we are all sure to get a beautiful painting for all our efforts.
